BIOGRAFIA
Massimo Faiferri, architetto, è professore associato in progettazione architettonica e urbana (ICAR 14). Laureatosi allo IUAV, dove ha conseguito anche il dottorato di ricerca, ha ottenuto l’abilitazione scientifica nazionale a professore ordinario (2018). Dal 2003 svolge attività didattica al DADU, Dipartimento di Architettura, Design e Urbanistica dell’Università di Sassari – Alghero. Membro del consiglio della Scuola di Dottorato in Architettura e Urbanistica della Facoltà di Architettura (2005-2008) e della Scuola di Dottorato in Architettura e Ambiente del DADU (dal 2009 a oggi), negli anni ha creato una rete di partner e università internazionali. Svolge attività di docenza all’estero in master e corsi universitari e dal 1999 è docente e membro del comitato scientifico del workshop internazionale Villard. Fondatore e supervisore del laboratorio di ricerca ecourbanlab, ha sviluppato ricerche dall’alto impatto scientifico, ottenendo finanziamenti per progetti di ricerca internazionali. Dal 2013 le sue ricerche si sono concentrate su spazi di apprendimento innovativi secondo un approccio interdisciplinare. Dal 2016 è consulente scientifico e direttore della Scientific School ILS (Innovative Learning Spaces). Su questo tema è stato relatore in convegni scientifici internazionali. Massimo Faiferri, architect, is associate professor in architectural and urban design (ICAR 14). He graduated from the IUAV where he also obtained his PhD. He obtained the national scientific qualification as full professor (2018). Since 2003 he’s been teaching at DADU, Department of Architecture Design and Urban Planning of the University of Sassari-Alghero.
Member of the board of the Doctoral School in Architecture and Urban Planning of the Faculty of Architecture (2005-2008) and member of the Doctoral school in Architecture and Environment of the DADU (since 2009), University of Sassari, he has created a network of international partners and Universities. He carries out teaching activities in architectural design and international post graduate masters in foreign universities. Since 1999 he is professor and member of the scientific board of the international workshop Villard. Founder and supervisor of the research laboratory ecourbanlab, he has developed research of high scientific impact, obtaining funding for international research projects. Since 2013 his investigations have been focused on innovative learning spaces according to an interdisciplinary approach. Since 2016 he’s been scientific advisor and director of the international scientific school ILS (Innovative Learning Spaces). On this topic he’s been contributor in international scientific conferences.
